Meetings
We are required by our Bylaws to hold four Meetings per year. Meetings will usually be on Mondays quarterly (unless there is a holiday or other conflict, in which case a subsequent Monday or other weekday will be arranged), with the Annual Meeting in November. On occasion, special meetings may be called for pressing or urgent business.

Meetings are held at the Palos Heights Public Library located at 12501 South 71st Ave., Palos Heights, IL, Phone: (708) 448-1473. Meetings usually begin at 7:00 p.m. and last until business is finished, typically 30 to 60 minutes. Please note: in accordance with Illinois Law, only unit owners or their proxy/legal counsel (as authorized in writing), are allowed to attend meetings. The Board reserves the right to have security personnel present at the meetings. Please refer to the Rules and Regulations for additional information.

Meeting Guidelines
All residents must sign in on the sign-in sheet before the meeting is in session. As a general rule, meetings will follow Robert’s Rules of Order™. Please note that a strict interpretation of Robert’s Rule of Order™ will be applied if needed, and questions from Residents must then ask questions during the Open Session only. Open Sessions may occur immediately after Meetings, and are at the discretion of the Board.
To speak or present something to the Board about past or present business please follow the guidelines below:
-
Raise your hand in order to be recognized by the Board President.
-
After being recognized, please stand and state your name and street address.
-
Give any applicable written information to the Board.
-
You will then be allowed five minutes to speak and/or ask a question.
-
Out of respect for the speaking Resident, no one else is allowed to speak until they are recognized by the Board President.
-
Resident questions regarding a subject brought up by another Resident during the Open Session will be allowed at the discretion of the Board.
-
If the Board deems that a Unit Owner is using or exhibiting inappropriate or aggressive language or behavior, they will be asked to leave the meeting.

If the Board is unable to answer a question during the meeting the Resident may request a response via their choice of telephone, e-mail, or in writing as soon as possible.
