Parking
Driveways can be used for parking for unit owners only where space is allowed directly in front of the unit owner’s garage. Visitors must use the designated parking areas, i.e., parking pads or street. Access to your neighbor’s garages cannot be blocked at any time. No commercially licensed vehicles can be parked overnight. Unit owners are liable for damage to the property, driveway, parking pad or street. All garage doors should remain closed, except during vehicle entry or exit.
Parking during the day and evening is also available along the curbed areas of our streets (please see “Ordinances” below). Parking is not allowed at any time along driveway entrance areas or along yellow-curbed streets. Additionally, no parking of recreational vehicles is allowed, except inside garages.

Please remember to remove parked cars from the streets and driveways when there is snowfall. (Salting is provided, but if you have extra ice build-up that you want to treat, use a sand-based treatment or magnesium-based salt substitute. Please notify the Board of any larger or problematic areas otherwise.)

Parking Consideration
On occasion residents and/or guests park in undesignated parking areas. This inconveniences residents trying to get to and from their driveways. If you are inconvenienced by a car parked in an undesignated area and a problem persists, please contact the Board.

Palos Heights Parking Ordinances
The Palos Heights Police Department has agreed to patrol our streets at night on a regular basis as of January 1st, 2010. Please note the Palos Heights Parking Ordinance that “no person shall park a vehicle on any street for a period of time longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of any day, except vehicles being used on emergency calls.” That means that no car should be left on the streets overnight. If so, it may be ticketed and/or towed.
Vehicle Stickers

The City of Palos Heights requires a vehicle sticker to be displayed in the front window of all vehicles registered in the City of Palos Heights, and that the Board has the right to tow illegally parked cars such as those left on the street for prolonged periods of time or those not belonging to residents or guests of residents.

Towing
Willow Wood Villas Condo Association reserves the right to have vehicles in violation of the above parking rules and regulations towed. Towing and related expenses are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
