Waste Removal

Garbage day is Tuesday.  Garbage day is postponed one day when a national holiday precedes it during the week.  Plastic containers can be placed curbside Monday night.  Absolutely no plastic bags or debris are allows overnight as they attract scavenger birds, raccoons, etc. and inevitably garbage is strewn about the property.  All containers must be returned from the curbside by sundown Tuesday.  If your garbage falls over or blows, it is the unit owner’s responsibility to clean up the debris.

Trash Cans

If you are in significant need of an additional or larger can please contact the Board.  In addition, we’ve found a great can that residents can buy at Home Depot.  It’s a roll-out can and the lids are attached, they are easier for the garbage collectors to use, they are not nearly as likely to be blown around by strong winds, and they are more rodent resistant.  They are available in 64 gallon and 96 gallon sizes.  They are a bit pricey, but they are contractor grade and worth the investment.  A few residents have purchased these already, and are very satisfied with the product.
